To create the connection icon follow the procedure below:

Click on Start select Connect To, and then Show all connections. If there is not a Connect To option, you must add it from the Start menu.

In the Network Connections window select Create a new connection.

On the appearing Wizard click Next.

Enable the Connect to the Internet option and click Next.

Select the second option Set up my connection manually and click Next.

Select the first option Connect using a dial-up modem and click on Next.

Select the ISDN modem that you have installed to your computer for the ISDN connection. In the example below, we have two modems from which the Standard 28800 bps modem is selected and it has been attached to Com1. This modem is the Netmod that is given with every ISDN telephone line.

Type RocketUK.net in the ISP Name field and click on Next.

In the Phone number field type RocketUK.net's number 08451300322 for connecting as an ISDN user with RocketUk.net and click Next.

In the field User name type your user name that you fill in on your application and in the field Password type your password. Uncheck the options Use this account name and password when... and Turn on Internet Connection Firewall... and click Next.

On the last tab, click Finish to terminate this procedure. As long as Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop is selected, a shortcut of this icon will be automatically placed to your desktop, for connection via RocketUK.net.

The connection icon appears in Network Connections.

If you minimize the window Network Connections you will see the shortcut on your desktop.

Return to the Network Connections window. You may either click on the RocketUK.net's icon and select Change settings of this connection or right click (on the RocketUK.net icon) to select Properties.

In the General tab, the modem you are using must be selected. Disable the option All devices call the same numbers, check out the call number once again and click on Configure.

Settings should be as follows. Click OK.

In the tab Options uncheck the option Redial if line is dropped and go on with the next tab Security.

Settings should be as shown below. Select the next tab Networking.

Click on the button Settings.

In this tab the options Enable LCP extensions and Enable software compression must be checked.
Note: If you have an ISDN 128 Kbps connection check the third option Negotiate multi-link for single link connections. Click on OK.

Having checked the Internet Protocol (Tcp/Ip) press Properties.

Settings should be as shown below. Click on Advanced.

In the tab General settings should be as shown below. Select the tab DNS.

Check out the settings and select the tab Wins.

Make sure that settings are as shown below, click on OK as many times as to return to the tab Networking.

Select the tab Advanced.

We recommend the option Protect my computer and network by limiting.. not be checked and click on ÏÊ to return to the Network Connections.

Settings are completed so as the connection to the Internet can be established.
