Windows XP Service Pack 2 contains a new pop-up blocker feature that may inhibit your ability to view web pages or download files. When you are browsing and the pop-up blocker has blocked something, a yellow bar will appear below the address bar (as seen in the screen shot below) beginning with the words ‘Pop-up blocked.’
Click on this yellow bar to view the menu.
Enabling Pop-UP from an IE toolbar (like Yahoo Toolbar, MSN or EBay)
Enabling Pop-UP windows in Internet Explorer Please select Pop-up Blocker settings and then Always allow Pop-ups from This Site
When you select this option, a window will appear. As shown below, type in www.rocketuk.net and click the ADD button
www.rocketuk.net will now appear in your Allowed "safe" Sites box. Checking that everything is OK
You can make quick changes to the popup-blocker settings by right clicking on this icon. When you do, a small menu will appear. You can use this to control which websites you want on your safe list and which websites you do not. You can also allow or block pop-ups temporarily if needed.
When you enter a website that is on your safe list, the "no-entry" symbol will change to a green tick. This means that you have told your browser that the site you are visiting is safe and pop-up windows will be allowed.
