About SDSL service
Broadband SDSL is a significant new development in Broadband Technology offering equal upload and download speeds making upload speeds up to 8x faster than ADSL.

It is the ideal platform for running an office web or e-mail server, VPN applications, enabling remote working or for people who regularly need to upload large files such as architects, graphic designers and printers. This makes it a powerful mid range business solution - between 'traditional' Broadband via ADSL and Leased Lines

SDSL, or 'Synchronous Digital Subscriber Line', empowers you with connectivity and capability of a leased line but at a fraction of the cost. If you are a publisher, firm of solicitors, design agency or anyone who uploads large files as well as downloads them, SDSL will save you time and effort.

A BT engineer will install a dedicated data port on-site, leaving you to provide your preferred solution. If only using a single machine, we can optionally provide a suitable SDSL router at a low cost.

We can supply a pre-configured router giving you everything you need to get connected.

Who is it for?
Anyone sending and receiving large amounts of data i.e. photographers, architects, designers, publishers, printers, marketing/advertising companies. It is the ideal service for remote offices and workers requiring high quality connection to their Head Office.

Please note: SDSL requires a dedicated line that cannot be shared with a telephone service.
