Routers
Standard Routers
The router provides the circuitry which decodes and encodes your network data so that it will travel down the phone line and not interrupt the standard voice signals. You need one of these to use your Broadband connection.

Wireless Routers
If you have a notebook computer then you may be interested in having a 'wireless' router - this provides the same facilities as a standard router but includes a wireless hub, enabling you to access the Broadband connection from anywhere in range.

If you don't have wireless on your notebook we sell wireless dongles to which will enable this feature.

Wireless Dongles
A simple plug in card which gives your computer a wireless network interface.

Microfilters
As Broadband shares the same physical line as your voice calls, you need these special adaptors on each phone socket which has both phone and broadband equipment fitted. They filter the Broadband and voice signals to separate sockets. Without these you will hear interference on voice or fax calls.

You will need a Microfilter for each individual phone socket.

If you are having a 'New' broadband line then you will need to pay a one off setup charge.
Migration is only free when migrating to a like for like line.
If it is not like for like you will then need a migration plus you will have to pay a one off regrade charge.
